Traditionally we have set our draft order on our Draft Day only moments prior to the actual draft. This year, we'll be holding an online event on Sunday, August 1, 2021. At 8AM ET we will begin a 12 hour virtual duck race, steamed live on our Twitch channel, to determine our draft order for our Draft Day.
Since many people have different preferences for draft order based on their personal strategy, winners of the duck race will be able to choose their draft place in order of their duck's finish. Remember that we use a snake draft, so that negates a bit of the strategy many use. But anyway, if The Astrocats' duck crosses the finish line first, they can choose what draft order they would prefer before anyone else. Second can choose second, and so on. Feel free to trade your draft order for whatever value you can from your other leaguemates prior to the start of our draft. The Commissioner will need your final draft order and any weird trade agreements prior to the start of the draft on August 28.
