Hey, Sack Pack

Week One is done. We have our first undefeated teams breaking into the season. Grats to RG3POs, The Scumbags, Amazons, The Shit Show, Go Birds, and The Astrocats! Biggest blowout of the week goes to Go Birds who attained victory by an amazing 24.34 points. Go Birds also grabbed the Weekly Winner for having the most points out of all of the teams with a massive 148.12.  Current standings:  Week Two begins tonight! Weekly Winners will be looking to score the most in their flex position. Be sure to set your lineups.

Week 1 of our new season begins today with the first game kicking off at 8:20PM. There are projections of wins and losses, but as we all know, Week 1 tends to be the start of understanding what kind of season we're in for. Good luck, Sack Pack! Half of you are going to win. 

We have always used a tumblr for the Sack Pack website, but lately I'm unhappy with how the site is displayed. Even if a person is logged in to tumblr, the site still puts a large purple banner across the bottom of the page asking people to log in or follow the content. Overall, it's just terrible and I can't ignore it any longer. I've decided to switch to Blogger. The only problem is that we'll lose so much posted history, going back to 2017. Tumblr, in it's awesome wisdom, does allow an export of content, but not in any way that another blog will import it. So I'll be mass posting some stuff this afternoon to get the history preserved as best I can. Hopefully this works out for us. 

Results are entered into the app. Amazons won the Yahoo "Best Draft" award. She has the most projected season points based on weekly optimal starting lineups. Other draft grades are in and coaches should be receiving their results via email soon, if not already. Give your teams a look and make sure the Commish has entered things correctly. We still have the poster and pics to verify any claims of error if necessary. Waiver settings have been adjusted to "none" so you should be able to go in and adjust your teams with free agents right away. There are 11 days until the season start.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce that Backus to the Future will not be joining the league for this season. Life is bonkers and yada yada yada... Maybe someday, life will see fit to lead Backus to the Future back into the Sack Pack future, but until that day, wishing you and your fam the best and we'll see you around kid. And as we all know, when one Sack Packer slams a door, another crawls in through a window. We'll maintain our 12 member league by welcoming a wild Erin's Team to the mix this season. She's pretty new to the whole fantasy football game, so that means she'll probably kick all our asses. Hopefully she comes up with a better team name.
