Final Week of Regular Play

Another round of updates going out:

Grats in Week 10 to mitch’s Team, Amazons, Regis Island, Oakland Vaders, Shady Bradys, and Backus to the Future. Grats in Week 11 go out to Motley Crew, mitch’s Team, Aaron’s Choice Team, Regis Island, Go Birds, and Shady Bradys.

We’re wrapping up Week 12 and entering our final week (13) of regular season play before our fantasy football league playoffs begin. Grats go out to Eliot (Backus to the Future) on being the only team securing a playoff position so far. Good luck to all who need to make that final win-push. Only five more teams will continue on in the finals, so this will be the final week of play for some.

Assuming participants are interested, we will be attempting a remote awards ceremony in our Discord at the end of the season.

As we enter the final weeks of this season, I’d like to invite you all to continue gaming together throughout the year. A few of us also play Among Us from time to time. If anyone would like to remotely get together for that, join the Sack Pack discord and we can coordinate some game days/nights.

Thanks again to everyone who participated in the 2020 fantasy football league season. It’s been a weird one.

Week Three Report

Despite the fact that our Yahoo! chat is comprised primarily of Mike fretting about how terrible his winning team is, The Fighting Fistula are, as of this week, the only undefeated team in the league! I don’t know if our Yahoo! chat app can handle the flood of bellyaching we’ll receive now. It’s gotta feel good for Backus to the Future to get that sweet sweet win over Amazons, the coach who picked his team in the draft because he totally bailed on us even though we had set plans for like a really long time... but that’s cool. Grats also go out to GO BIRDS, The Astrocats, Planet express, Regis Island, and The Scumbags. Shady Bradys were totally robbed taking a loss with a score like that.

Week One Wins (and Losses)

Last night finished up week 1 and we have our fist set of wins and losses for the season. A big GRATS goes out to Regis Island, RG3POs, Shady Bradys, Good Picks, GO BIRDS, The Fighting Fistula, and Lollipop Guild. Don’t get cocky though. Many wins were close calls or the direct result of luck. Things will change in the following weeks. Regis Island also gets a big THANK YOU for preventing The Scumbags from restarting their undefeated run again this season (and not collusion needed!).
