Sack Pack Draft 2018

 



It's almost time for the fucking Sack Pack Fantasy Football Draft Party!


Confirmation of participation in the upcoming season have been received and I'm happy to report 100% retention from last season!


Team names need to be sent in by Saturday, August 15.


Coaches are assumed to be at the draft. If not, they might want to set up a proxy to draft for them. I don't really give a fuck though. That's their fucking problem.


Location: Same as always


OH SHIT, THAT'S FOOD: We'll have snacks and the traditional mandatory pre-draft cake. Beverages are BYOB. Everyone is expected to chip in for pizza.


Itinerary:
3PM: Your ass better be on time because this shit starts on time
3:15: Draft order decided
3:30: Draft begins
6PM: Pizza arrives
7:30ish: AFTER DRAFT CELEBRATION


League Fee: The League Fee must be paid prior to the beginning of the draft (DEADLINE: 3:14PM ET 08/25/2018). Coaches can deliver cash to the commissioner anytime between right this fucking second and the day of the draft (prior to the deadline you just fucking read in the last sentence). Send it with a "friend," or mail it certified fucking mail. I don't give a fuck how you do it but pay prior to the start of the draft or you will suffer the League Fee Penalty. See "League Fee Penalty" for details. 100% of the League Fee goes towards prizes.


League Fee Penalty: Those who do not pay the entire league fee prior to the start of the deadline will not be allowed to pick their own team. Their team will be chosen in Round Robin style by the rest of the league.


We will be using Yahoo! again for the app.

Week Three Report

Despite the fact that our Yahoo! chat is comprised primarily of Mike fretting about how terrible his winning team is, The Fighting Fistula are, as of this week, the only undefeated team in the league! I don’t know if our Yahoo! chat app can handle the flood of bellyaching we’ll receive now. It’s gotta feel good for Backus to the Future to get that sweet sweet win over Amazons, the coach who picked his team in the draft because he totally bailed on us even though we had set plans for like a really long time... but that’s cool. Grats also go out to GO BIRDS, The Astrocats, Planet express, Regis Island, and The Scumbags. Shady Bradys were totally robbed taking a loss with a score like that.

Week One Wins (and Losses)

Last night finished up week 1 and we have our fist set of wins and losses for the season. A big GRATS goes out to Regis Island, RG3POs, Shady Bradys, Good Picks, GO BIRDS, The Fighting Fistula, and Lollipop Guild. Don’t get cocky though. Many wins were close calls or the direct result of luck. Things will change in the following weeks. Regis Island also gets a big THANK YOU for preventing The Scumbags from restarting their undefeated run again this season (and not collusion needed!).
