Hey Sack Pack! Sorry for the lag in updates. A few collegiate requirements had our commissioner over extended for a bit there. Here’s the league info-dump from the previous weeks: Week 8: Grats to Regis Island (129.32), Amazons (118.92), the Astrocats (92.84), Backus to the Future (96.62, Snoochie Boochies (116.64) and Aaron’s choice Team (100.54) Week 9: Grats to Aaron’s Choice Team (103.20), Amazons (119.36), The Astrocats (124.26), Oakland Vaders (111.20), Backus to the Future (74.28), and Newbie Nation (114.92). Special grats to Aaron’s Choice Team who’s on a 3-win roll. Week 10 matchups start tonight: Current standings still show Backus the the Future in the number one slot. He’s enjoyed a few recent wins thanks to the scheduling gods. Someone find out what he sacrificed.

Grats to the Week Six winners: Shady Bradys, Backus To The Future, Snootchie Boochies, Newbie Nation, mitch’s Team, & Regis Island! Biggest Blowout of the Week goes to Snootchie Boochies who won by 57.5 points! Backus To The Future returns to first place in the standings and Oakland Vaders retains his position in the caboose.

There’s some talk of postponing the NFL season, but at the time of this posting, Week 5 is still going live so be sure to set those lineups and be prepared for anything.

  Sadly, a few COVID-19 cases are starting to cause some health and scheduling issues for our fantasy teams. We wish all of the the real people affected a quick and complete recovery. We’ll all have to be more vigilant than usual when it comes to mid-week changes. Grats this week go out to Go Birds, Motley Crew, Amazons, Newbie Newton and Aaron’s Choice Team.

Week Three is already underway. Hopefully you saw the tweet from Sack Pack or the reminder from the Yahoo! app or just remembered because you love, live, and breathe Fantasy Football and set your lineup prior to the start of the Thursday night game. It was a rough night for the Jacksonville Jaguars, but hopefully the Khan family can take comfort in their AEW success. But even if you forgot, it’s okay because it looks like most people didn’t have players in the Thursday night game anyway... unless they were neglectfully benched .

Grats go out to this week’s champions: The Astrocats, Newbie Newton, mitch’s Team, Snootchie Boochies, Backus To The Future, and Shady Bradys! Backus To The Future racked up an amazing 180+ points this week to bring home the Biggest Blowout of the Week award, winning by a massive 51+ points! Only Newbie Newton and The Astrocats remain undefeated this season.

Grats to the undefeated: Amazons, The Astrocats, Oakland Vaders, Regis Island, Go Birds, and Newbie Newton! And super-grats to the number one: Go Birds! who accumulated a massive amount of points this week. If you’re not in the winners’ circle this week, just keep in mind that half the teams have to lose each week. It just wasn’t your turn. I recommend sacrificing a nerf football to the fantasy football gods before Thursday in case you’ve angered them in some unknown way. And if you do that, please post it on something. We want to see that. Week One tends to be a bit of a gamble for projections. Now that some expectations have been met or missed, competition and self-second guessing is sure to ramp up.
